This item is poorly built. No hardware holds the legs of this easel into the base. It has no adjustment for the angle, thus not practical for painting.

The easel is true to size, but in reality is really small and unfortunately unstable. One can use it for display or outdoor painting if one must, but definitely not for everyday work in a studio.

If you are going to work for the small projects that have the smaller sizes of this easel, you would be fully satisfied. It is a compact and strong with a good quality of the wood. Also the price is very reasonable with this easel. It arrived so fast with a impressively protecting packing. I will give five stars.

We bought a Herotab C8 Android tablet to use as a permanent house MP3 player, but all tablet stands we could find were flimsy-looking, ugly, or wouldn't support our need to have it hard-wired. This was a perfect solution.

It's a tad light, but the build quality is good. We had to drill a couple of 3/8" holes for power & phono jacks, which is why we looked for a wood solution. It appears to be stained, but not sealed/finished, which is actually good because we were hoping to stain it black. We put a couple of silicone dots on the bottom to keep it from sliding. (We posted a customer image of our setup)

For use for it's intended purpose, you'd probably want to weight the base.

It only holds surfaces up to 12 inches in height, so it is limited in its use. If you reverse the adjustable clamp, and use it on the INSIDE of a stretched canvas frame, it will handle 14 inch canvas.
