OK keychain, impulse buy... shouldn't have bought itdrew some eyes on it, much cuter.. overall a good keychain, could be cheaper, not really useful at all, maybe for a younger person.

Guerrilla Painter 5 by 7 Pocket Box
Fantastic size. It is perfect for my watercolor setup. The size limits how much I take out with me, which is helpful. There is just enough space to fit 4 travel brushes, 2 fountain pens, a pencil, and 2 Pitt pens, a 6" ruler, a folding water reservoir, 2 small tins of watercolors, and a small Moleskine watercolor journal. I do wish the lid was complete without the open slot on the front. My larger Gorrilla boxes do not have this feature, so I was surprised and at first very disappointed upon seeing it. The opening is made to hold wet canvases, which I don't use as a watercolorist. However, it has not proved to be a problem thus far. The leather closure strap holds the journal in place. All small items must be kept in the storage space below. I covered the thumb hole with heavy paper, sized to fit the box, so nothing can fall out. Overall, it is the best box I have found to fit my particular needs and wants. It fits perfectly in my Timbuktu messenger bag.
If you are interested in painting on 5x7" canvas boards, this model is perfect. You can fit 3 of them in the box, and two of them can even be wet when you close it up! I usually paint on card stock instead, and just slip a few blanks in between my canvas boards. Under the sliding palette I fit: a couple pencils & sharpener, 12 small tubes of acrylic, a few small brushes, a small painting knife, and a small cloth.
I haven't tried using the thumb hole or the tripod screws on the bottom. I mainly use this box to paint in a cafe or fast food restaurant, and just set it down on the table. The whole thing is small enough that I don't feel outrageously conspicuous in such situations.
The only complaint I have about the physical product itself is that the lid can't be tightened firmly enough to hold it open at fixed angle. This surprised me, since the lid is intended to act as an easel and has a somewhat involved mechanism hold it open. Most of them time, I end up not using the back as an easel and just put my canvas or card stock flat on the table.

This little box is great for travel. I have several pochade boxes, but none of them are self-contained like this one. Usually I have to carry a separate tote for paints and brushes, always feeling like I'm toting a ton of gear. For this box, I bought some water miscible oil paints so I don't have to carry solvents, some short-handled brushes, and a small mighty-mite brush washer. They all fit easily inside the box. It holds two 5x7 inch canvas panels. Although it can be fastened to a tripod, I'd prefer less equipment and instead sit it on my lap or on a table. I got this as a gift and I have really enjoyed using it. I like to travel light and while I have a small pochade box by Artwork Essentials (which is wonderful), this one can carry wet canvases and paint, brushes, pencil and small turp right under the lid. I use it on my lap and put a heavy piece of paper on the bottom of the box to keep things from falling out as there is a hole for a tripod mount which would defeat my purpose of small and fully portable in a bag. I added the extension palette which easily screws onto the right side of the box. I like having an extension palette as I can keep my brushes on that (there are holes to fit the handles in) and I when I clean my palette I put the extra paint there for a mix of good greys. I can also clip a medium cup to the extension which can not be done on the main part of the palette. I highly recommend getting this, however with the extension palette I can only keep one wet painting in the lid as the palette takes up the extra space that a second painting might take. The whole thing is very lightweight. The painting panel sits in landscape mode, but if I want to paint vertically I use clips to hold the painting in place and that seems to work fine. Pkolino Art Easel - White
This easel seems to be sturdy and good quality, but I can't figure out why it isn't designed to be easier to use. We use it primarily with paper, for painting and drawing. Maybe I should have bought the P'kolino paper roll, because it sure was frustrating trying to feed my standard 18" roll through the space on the top. (First I tried a roll from Ikea, which is slightly greater than 18" so it doesn't fit.) I can't figure out why there is so much wood at the top of the easel. The only purpose seems to be to clamp down the paper, so I would rather have something much narrower with more drawing space below. I thought perhaps I could rip the paper along the top piece of wood, but it didn't rip cleanly. I was also hoping to tuck the bottom edge of the paper into the small piece of wood on the bottom, but with my rough edge from ripping it, it doesn't fit. Overall it serves the purpose of an easel, but, especially for the price, it could have been so much better!One more note: ours was a gift from the grandparents, and they assembled it for us. We have never had anything to convert the easel into a puppet theater, but it is possible the "scenes" got thrown away with the packaging.

This item was far too difficult to put together because the pieces did not match the directions in the box. I was only able to use this product because I have a friend who is skilled at this type of activity and he took it home, put it together, and brought it back to me. Otherwise it is serving the purpose I acquired it for.
Darice 5-Piece Painting Knife Set
All in all, 3 stars for me, but it really depends on the task.I use one of them for mixing epoxy and such, and I haven't had any issue as far as functionality is concerned. This should be an OK set for painting. If this is all I do with them, I would have given them 3.5 stars.
I also use these kind of things to work glue into narrow seams for repairing wooden musical instruments, which sometimes needs some force. For this purpose, this set is not up to the task. The blades are fine, the issue is the ferrule and the handle. 2 stars for this.
Here are some potential issues (see my picture):
1. Ferrules are not particularly tight and handle is made of some not-so-hard wood.
This means that, if you use these with some lateral force, you'll crack the handle. That already happened on me once.
This shouldn't be a problem for mixing paint, epoxy, putty etc. at all, though.
2. Compared with my pricier (probably $10 per piece) painting knives, these have rougher blade surface (they have some scratch marks).
I'm OK with this.
3. Edges of some blades had fine burrs.
I needed to pass the edge on a fine sand paper several times.
4. Handles of some of the knives were badly marked as if the worker screwed up when trying to fit the ferrule.
Doesn't affect the functionality.

I needed a specific size palette knife and ordered this set since it included the one required. When the set came, it was poorly packaged and instead of the five different palette knife shapes, two were the same. Fortunately the one I need was there, but beware if you are looking for all the styles, you may be surprised by what you get in the package. I've only had these for a few days, so take this with a grain of salt, but I wouldn't recommend these for a serious artist. The metal is thick and not very well crafted. I've just started painting with knives and I was lucky enough to have two good ones to start with, but I needed some variety so I thought I'd try these.I'm just not getting the quality of stroke that I was getting from my other knives.

Artist supplies tend to have a significant mark-up which is fine when purchasing a top of the line paint or canvas but who wants to spend more money on knives? I don't! Let's face it, they tend to wear out over time if for no other reason than the harsh chemical cleaners. I thought I'd give this a try just because of the price; the entire five pieces cost only a little more than one knife at my local art supply store. I was concerned over the quality it's more than adequate although nothing to get excited about.Handles are wood and finished but little more. The metal is flexible but firm. I actually prefer a bit less flexibility but given the price, these suffice just fine. Easy to clean and work as intended. A very good option for those searching for value priced items without totally sacrificing all quality.

I picked the Mabef M9 easel after reading several good reviews and checking out their warranty. They offer a 2 year warranty on all parts which is more than most of the other easel manufacturers offer. It is also solid wood.The easel comes unassembled. The assembly instructions are not clear because the parts are not numbered and there are lots of pictures. Putting it together took us about 2 hours. Once put together it is a solid easel.
The angle of the canvas is adjustable as well as the height which helps a lot while painting.
Overall, it's a high quality easel which looks like it will last a long time.

I really like this easel. It is sturdy, can be adjusted to any height, and folds up to fit in the canvas carrying bag (very compact). I haven't figured out how to adjust it flat for watercolor as the description says, but I'm going to keep trying as that would be helpful to me.

My newest hobby is painting.Painting with the canvas flat on the table just wasn't getting it. I opted for the cheap easel. This easel is just fine for me.It is super light,folds down to the size of a big umbrella,and is easy to adjust.The down side is that its light weight. A real painter would want something heavier. I paint setting down and close so I just "hook" the front legs with my feet to keep it from moving. But for a noob like me its a great value.I can also see it being good for painting outside "on location". The only thing that bugs me is the bottom part of the canvas holder.It is adjustable by means of holes that two screws(one on each leg) slip into.Its hard for me to get level and is easy to knock out of place. I love the flexibility of these easels. I purchased two of them to hold backdrops for videos and they have so many ways to adjust the height from the multi-stage extending legs to the adjustable brackets that can slide up and down the leg.
