Wire Folding Easel 24""-Green

Recommend to anyone planning to put this outdoors; buy a more substantial one. Disappointingly "wimpy" when placed on our grandson's grave.

The stand worked for my purposes but I was hoping for something a little more study. It is worth it to pay a little more and get a bigger sturdier stand.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it! she can paint with it on a table or have it standing up. It is easy to set up and so far seams durable. for the price it is very cheap compared to what is out there, and the quality so far seems great.

I will update this in the future if anything changes

I bought this easel for my granddaughter although after seeing the actual product, I would buy one for myself. You can't beat this in terms of price and quality. To begin, this floor easel comes in a surprisingly compact box. (Easy to fold up and carry.) The first thing you notice on opening the box is the delicious smell of polished wood. Set up is easy. It will hold a medium to large canvas tightly. The storage drawer has plenty of room for supplies and the included pallet. My granddaughter was thrilled to receive to receive the Pro Art French Box Easel. The product is inexpensive compared to others on the market but it is well made. One criticism: I'm not sure how stable the legs will be outdoors since the fasteners don't tighten well and tend to slip.

I am very happy with my purchase. My 20 something daughter is serious about her art and she likes the easel. It easily holds a large canvas. It is easy to set up and quite sturdy. It will also be simple to transport, although she has not taken it anywhere yet. A really nice easel for the price.

I love these Da-Lite folding easels. You can fold them down to sit on a table or open up fully. All models have little fold-out holders at different heights to accommodate whiteboard or other display data. If you get the crossbar model, you can hang flip charts, or charts that might not stand well on the stands. They're light weight and store nicely went not being used. One caution, though, about the way people advertise these. They always show you the three-easel picture from Da-Lite's web site, but you can't see the tiny numbers in the picture. ONLY the D305 comes with the top crossbar in the picture. If they're advertising a stock number beginning with "H", it doesn't have the crossbar.

My wife mentioned that she would love a sketch board for her birthday and I ordered the first one...and it was huge...exactly what she wanted but huge...then I looked again on Amazon and they had a smaller size...got that one too. Wife was happy...and of course that makes me happy. Great quality!

the edge of board was damaged just like another review. But the price is good. It is not a big deal for me. But I think the seller got cheap deal the damaged board and resell it. When you sell the product, please be honest with customer.

It's a pretty well made art board for the cost. It gets the job done and so far I haven't had a problem using it. The handle it quite helpful when transporting and the red band around it really helps hold down the paper when working, overall a good art board

I got this on time and it looks exactly like the one in the picture except for the dents on two corners. Sturdy and $20 cheaper than ones I looked at in the store. However, the ends were a little damaged. I don't think it will affect my sister's art but since this was a gift for her, I wanted it to be perfect and not damaged.

These turn buttons are very basic stamped metal pieces with the tips bent up slightly. Being stamped pieces, the edges are slightly rough in places. The metal is thick enough that they don't bend easily, so there's no concern about items secured by them falling out of a frame. Several had slight surface rust on the edges (maybe 20%), but at the price, that's an acceptable amount considering the next cheapest ones I found ran 20 cents a piece (compared to about 4 cents here).

These aren't showpieces and should be relegated to face the wall, but overall I'm pleased with their performance given the price.

The description led me to believe that there would be 200 of the turn buttons with screws. What I got was a package of 100 turn buttons and 100 screws. I guess that adds up to 200 but seems like false advertising to me.

The buttons and screws I got worked fine, but not happy with the marketing.

Update to my review:

I emailed Amazon and they quickly responded back. Apparently I should have received 200 turn buttons with screws.

Amazon is providing a resolution.

I needed these turn buttons for my handmade picture frames. They were easy to install and worked perfectly. These seem better for small frames because of their small size, so I will probably start purchasing something bigger for my large frames. Great value for so many items. Martin Van Dyck Wooden Artist Easel

An excellent easel for use on tables. Holds large canvas. Adjustable angles. Well made. Drawer holds all my painting knives and brushes. Folds up to carry to art class.

First, I must say I'm disappointed with Amazon in regard to the packing and shipping of this easel. It came to me in it's original package, untaped and with the top flap completely open leaving the easel and styrofoam exposed. Not a single piece of tape. Seriously Amazon? Seriously?

Now on to the easel itself.....

I use this tabletop easel mainly for drawing. Since it doesn't have a solid back, you have to modify it a bit if you aren't using this easel to paint on a canvas. I've been securing a sketchboard as though it were a canvas. The sketchboard then is what actually holds my paper in place. It works.

The drawer holds graphite pencils, charcoal, erasers, sandpaper block, rulers, and suchjust as it would hold brushes and other tools a painter would require. I'm not crazy about the way my pencils slide around (it could potentially mean an increase in lead breakage) but I realize it wasn't designed for pencils.

Parts of this easel could be better quality. For instance, the hardware is really just gold painted plastic (or very light weight/flimsy metalI can't be sure), and, on my easel, the drawer doesn't line up perfectly preventing the clasps that are suposed to keep it locked from truly locking shut. The briefcase type handle is really just heavy cardboard wrapped in a sort of leather looking material. With time and the weight of the easel (and it's contents), I wonder will it bend or break? That remains to be seen.

But for now, I have to admit that, even though there is room for improvement, this easel does what I need it to do and it was fairly inexpensive. It would have cost me much more for an easel without these few, and relatively insignificant, flaws. Overall, I was quite pleased to find a tabletop easel at Amazon and I'm happy with what I got for the price that I paid.
