Majestic Royal and Langnickel Short Handle Paint Brush Set, Deluxe Watercolor, 5-Piece

These brushes are perfect for a beginner, or a hobbyist. They're fairly priced and work well. I bought these as a gift for someone. I showed them to my dad (a master painter) and he said that they're OK, but that there are other brushes that he'd rather use.

So I'm not saying they suck, but just know that there are better tools out there, unfortunately, you'll have to spend the money.

I absolutely love these brushes. Very high quality and holds shape very well. I recomend these brushes highly. Kind regards

the product description doesn't match the product name--the name says its a 5 piece watercolor set but the description is of a 7-piece acrylic and oil brush set.

Which is it???

(I used 3 stars because I had to give it something in order to post a comment and it seems like they'd be nice brushes and don't want to diss the product itself.)

Here's the actual description: #5 & #8 rounds, 1" flat, 1/2" angled, and #1 script for watercolor and acrylic (as the online description didn't match the picture). Very nice. Would have given 5 stars if not for the confusion

Guerrilla Painter 6 by 8-Inch Thumbox, Volume II

I've been pricing thumb boxes for awhile now, wanting one just for quick field sketches, that I don't have to carry the full size pochade and tripod with me. This is a very cool little box, perfect for table top(picnic tables work great!) or hand holding with the thumb hole.It holds 2 wet canvas boards and stores 4 more in the compartment under the sliding palette. I ordered the tripod mount and rubber feet separately, in case I wanted to work standing up.I recommend bringing another palette though, I needed more room to mix paint!Bottom linegreat price, good construction, it will be your little go-to easel!

This box is super sturdy and holds a lot of gear for taking on the deck or out in the field. Even great for drawing/painting when watching tv or sitting at the breakfast table.

I ordered the Thumbox from Amazon after seeing it on the Guerilla Painter web site. (They have since removed the picture.). What came was a much smaller product, too flat to even hold brushes within the box, assembly screws missing, then a pin missing, and not at all what the photo on the Guerilla Painter front page of their web site showed. After three separate messages to them to try to get the pieces that were supposed to be part of the order, I was told that my option might be to start over again and get another box for $150 plus $15 postage because she fund a demo she could send from her back room.

It was the worst online transaction I've ever had....I do not recommend Guerilla Painter products... too stressful for my life. I'm very disappointed.

I was looking for brushes with black or non reflective ferule, and here they are! I have only worked with Nº 8 until now, and it shows an incredible soft touch without deforming after washing. I regret there's no long handle R&L Majstic brushes at Amazon, wich are the ones I need.
