These little plate stands are terrific. You can hardly see them in the china cabinet, and I was able to put one in front of the other to show off two plates at once, with plenty of space on the shelf for a bread plate, saucer and cup in front. Beautiful!

These plate stands are exactly what I was looking for to display some lovely old plates. Hold different sizes, and since they are clear plastic, they don't distract from the plate. Would recommend highly!

There is a reason the only pictures depicted do not show a side shot the profile of the display is 1.5 to 2 inches DEEP. For my purposes in a china cabinet they just took up tooooooooo much space.

If you want to ensure a plate stands up at the back forget it.

The person who said they are so small you can put one in front of the other?

I am not sure what they were talking about.

Perhaps for a free standing plate display on a shelf or a ledge it might be OK but as it is for what it is

they are going back.

These display stands were WAY to bulky to fit into a small China Cabinet. With a standard size china plate, the plate barely fit in height and (with the angle and depth of actual stand) there is no way that any additional items could be placed in front (so you can't even hide the plastic stand). Return process was also not pleasant. Only paid $18.00 for items with $8.00 shipping. Company wanted to charge 20% restocking fee for standswhich I do not believe was disclosed upon purchase and you have to pay return shipping. Decided the refund of $10.00 was not worth the effort. Make sure you have a deep cabinet and have no expectation of return.

Fit my needs & my plates needs exactly. These stands make plates look great holding my old plates in my china cabinet.

I had recently purchased a standard easel online from another company and needed an easel pad for it. When the easel pads (2-pack) arrived I realized they were too big. I had to cut off the bottom of each pad several sheets at a time to make them fit the easel. Worse yet, the holes at the top of the pad were not lined up correctly with the pegs on the easel, so I had to use a utility knife to scrape and cut the holes to make them fit the easel pegs. I'm a workshop trainer and need my materials to look professional. Having to make so many alterations to these easel pads caused them to look tacky. In the future, I'd pay more to get a better product.

While Amazon is selling this set for considerably less money than the local big box art stores in my area, it is not a complete set for what you need to follow along with Bob Ross and his videos. To paint almost any of Bob's paintings (including the one on the DVD in this kit) you will also need to purchase Prussian Blue, Dark Sienna, Yellow Ochre and Indian Yellow paints. In the instructional basics part of the DVD, Bob also recommends having a #3 fan brush, #6 filbert brush, 1" round brush and a #5 painting knife, none of which are included in the beginner kit. While you could definetly get started with the tools in the kit, I am very disappointed that all of the paint colors required to paint the picture in the lesson included are not in the kit, and I have to still go out and buy them.

Lets start with the case.... nicely done. Strong and not breakable.. don't stand on it.

The kit has everything to get someone started painting right away. There were three backed canvases that had some dubious pencil drawings on them but if you are a beginner, the layout was good to start.

The whole package was a surprise to open and explore.

This was under 40 bucks. Only thing I would add would be more colors, smaller tubes.

This kit is great! I ordered two for my neices for xmas and they just arrived. Really quick on the shipping. THe only downside is that all 3 canvases have the same picture printed on it. The girls probably wont mind and sometimes don't know what to paint so it is a nice practice piece. I plan on getting more blank canvas boards to go with it. The box easily converts to a table easel. I researched many different art kits, this was the best deal around. I highly recommend.

This is a great set that will help a beginning artist decide what their paint preferences. The case is awesome. You can refill it with the paints and supplies you need after the current inventory is used. The only problem I had is some of the paint was clumpy. Other than that I really enjoy using it.
