Not bad quality at all, i'm just a person who loves to note high quality materials. It is decent quality, but I absolutely love the design. Where everything is and how comfortable it feels to paint, it makes me enjoy the painting experience so much more!!!

Very satisfied. Seems lightweight, but sturdy. Went together very easily. Didn't do 5 stars since I haven't painted on it yet. But it looks very promising The mast is adjustable for horizontal or vertical and can hold a fairly large canvas.

DAX Solid Wood Photo/Picture Frame, Easel Back, Black

The wood used for the frame is good, but the cardboard used in the back and for the stand is very low quality. The edges are not properly filed, the cardboard powder keeps falling down on the glass and its hard to remove those from the glass.

Frames work well. Came quickly, but without notice. I was unable to track their progress and didn't know when they would arrive until they did arrive. They did come rather quickly however.

Deluxe Studio Easel, Professional Floor Standing, Elm Finished

This is a very basic easelsmall shelf only. But assembly is easy and the finished product is sturdy, functional, and quite beautiful. The wood is just gorgeous. Holds both small and large canvases... no qualms with it yethad it about 4 monthsuse it about once a week.

I'm very happy with this affordable purchase. I've been using it for two weeks and I have no complaints. It's sturdy and well made and looks great. I use it for airbrush painting and it is big enough to hold all my odd shaped paper, canvas, plastic sheets.... Putting it together wasn't too difficult either...took me about 30 minutes.

Martin Van Dyck Wooden Artist Easel

An excellent easel for use on tables. Holds large canvas. Adjustable angles. Well made. Drawer holds all my painting knives and brushes. Folds up to carry to art class.

First, I must say I'm disappointed with Amazon in regard to the packing and shipping of this easel. It came to me in it's original package, untaped and with the top flap completely open leaving the easel and styrofoam exposed. Not a single piece of tape. Seriously Amazon? Seriously?

Now on to the easel itself.....

I use this tabletop easel mainly for drawing. Since it doesn't have a solid back, you have to modify it a bit if you aren't using this easel to paint on a canvas. I've been securing a sketchboard as though it were a canvas. The sketchboard then is what actually holds my paper in place. It works.

The drawer holds graphite pencils, charcoal, erasers, sandpaper block, rulers, and suchjust as it would hold brushes and other tools a painter would require. I'm not crazy about the way my pencils slide around (it could potentially mean an increase in lead breakage) but I realize it wasn't designed for pencils.

Parts of this easel could be better quality. For instance, the hardware is really just gold painted plastic (or very light weight/flimsy metalI can't be sure), and, on my easel, the drawer doesn't line up perfectly preventing the clasps that are suposed to keep it locked from truly locking shut. The briefcase type handle is really just heavy cardboard wrapped in a sort of leather looking material. With time and the weight of the easel (and it's contents), I wonder will it bend or break? That remains to be seen.

But for now, I have to admit that, even though there is room for improvement, this easel does what I need it to do and it was fairly inexpensive. It would have cost me much more for an easel without these few, and relatively insignificant, flaws. Overall, I was quite pleased to find a tabletop easel at Amazon and I'm happy with what I got for the price that I paid.
