I purchased the thumb box and then this bag to protect it, and am glad I made the purchase! It fits perfectly, has lots of storage pockets for rags, paper towels, and spare canvas boards. This is the perfect bag to leave in your car so you always have an option when you see the place to pull over and make a quick sketch! I'm saying it's time for a road trip!!
I just received this item on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. To give a "heads up", some assembly is required but it is not too complicated. This easel appears to be everything that it is advertised to be and I am in the process of setting up my paint-by-number canvas into it. However, the canvas just barely fits into it, not just length-wise but depth-wise as well. One other thing I am experimenting with is attaching a clip-op book light onto the easel to give my work some additional lighting.

This is a great table top easel for small paintings and canvases. Works really well for my purposes. Great quality.
I picked the Mabef M9 easel after reading several good reviews and checking out their warranty. They offer a 2 year warranty on all parts which is more than most of the other easel manufacturers offer. It is also solid wood.
This water color easel works well. It is stable and easily adjustable. It came with a narrow tray that mounts onto the legs that has a hook for your water bucket. I screwed a board onto the tray to hold my pallet. The top tilting mechanism is plastic, and I'm not sure how it will hold up. The real negative for this easel is that the brackets that hold your board, though adjustable, will not get close enough together. The top bracket has a bar that hits the lower bracket as it slides up the track. I don't know anyone who needs such a large board that you would ever open the brackets that far apart for a water color painting. Maybe for oil. I ended up cutting off almost 5 inches from the bar so they can get close enough together to hold my board.
This is a beautifully simple, efficient solution to on-the-go painting,, for classes or craft day with friends. No bulky easel to wrestle with, and just as the name indicates, it fits in a pocket or other small space with your supplies. I bought one set for display and one for travel. Super product!
This product is good but I wouldn't have purchased it if I had realized that it shouldn't really support items taller than 5". Rather than pay shipping twice if I bought the wrong thing, I bought all 3 sizes (3,5,7"). There is little information provided on the product page to make an educated purchase. I will use these for something else.

I have purchased products from this company before and am generally pleased. These 2 1/2 inch deep cradled painting panels are especially nice, deeper than those I've ordered before. I look forward to using these. BTW, I am surprised that these are listed under "kitchen", art supplies would be more appropriate IMO.
I was in need of a simple solution to posting some 11 x 14 photos at a corporate party. I didn't have a huge budget so I purchased foam core and a pack of these. I had never used them so I wasn't sure if this would work, but it did! I got the photos enlarged at one of the bulk discount stores and then used rubber cement to mount them.
