if i could give this a two and a half star rating i'd have done so but i can't, and two seems a little harsh.anyways for what it is, it's not that bad, yet not amazing either. i bought it cause i was working on a piece of armour for a hand and needed to mount it on something. this seemed like the best solution at the time but turned out to not work at all. this was because the thumb isnt really all that moveable, it can move at the joint as seen in the picture, but (for people with a little anatomy knowledge) the flexor pollicis brevis area is totally solid and therefor constrains many of the natural looking positions a hand should be able to display. otherwise, the fingers moved quite nicely and naturally but only in the direction of the joints, in other words, they can't be splade outwards.
i can see that for a (very) basic sketching of a hand or displaying some jewellery this might be usefull, but otherwise for the price i ended up paying with shipping i'd reccomend looking for something else or making a chiken wire modle hand in the position you need as i did for my project. that depends on how 'hands' on you feel like getting.. sorry i had to :P
