After several years of trying countless different linseed oils, I finally found this oil to give your paint a nice, even 'flow' while not thinning them to a watery, too loose consistency. Whether I mixed this with another medium or solvent, the oil maintains its quality and has given good results in my painting. I have always found it difficult to strike just the right products to help me achieve the painting effects I wish, but this brand of oil has solved that problem. I bought this to use when drawing maps for my RPG group. The 1" grids mean this lines up with many of the current RPGs that use grid based combat. I am able to draw out maps before game day and then store in a cylinder mailing tube. On game day, I just pull the maps out of the tube and lay them flat on the table.

If you are drawing your maps in permanent marker like I do, you will only get 25 pages, not 50. This is because the count of 50 pages per pad assumes using front and back of each page. With permanent marker, this is not possible.

I had no issues with how the shipment delivered. No pages were bent or folded as I've seen some reviews talk about with other pads. I am very happy with this purchase.

As a turbonerd, I love to make giant maps for use of tokens/figurines during my roleplaying games, and this easel is perfect and a good price.

American Easel 24 Inch Table Top Tripod-Walnut Stained Fir

I took a trip to the local art store, looking for an easel that would hold a large framed photo at an exhibition. I was distressed to find that I was looking at a price of $35 to $100. So I ordered this one from Amazon. It came disassembled, but it is a simple thing and was no trouble to put together. It is held together by a couple of wing nuts. It will accommodate a 19" frame nicely, though I'm not sure it would hold an item much bigger than that. The stability of this easel is entirely dependent on the tension of the wing nuts. There is nothing beside that preventing the rear leg from sliding backward and dumping the art on the table. I am a little bit concerned about that, but I plan to use it anyway. The expensive ones at the art store are definitely a lot nicer.

I do a lot of painting and needed an easel, but didn't want to spend a ton of money. It's just a hobby so I couldn't justify it. This one was perfect reasonably priced, versatile size. My daughter (5 yr old) uses it a lot it positions her project perfectly so that's one less mess I have to clean up :). Not only is it a great size, It folds up which makes storing it easy. I have a metal utility shelf in my craft room that has holes in the posts I screwed a little eye hook in the back of the easel (where it wouldn't interfere with the canvas while in use) and hang it off a s-hook in one of the holes in the shelf when we're not using it. Highly recommend!

This product came with everything you need to get a feeling about oil paint except solution for cleaning brushes. In my opinion, the included artist pad is bit too big to start with. Combination of smaller and bigger version of the artist pad would have been better. The brush quality is not that great but worth the cost of the product. It would be nice to include better quality brushes. To meet the cost, eraser and wooden pencil may not be included. Otherwise it is a good buy for the beginner.

Such a nice kit! The pad of paper that is included holds the paint well, the colors are bright, and I love using the knife that was included for mixing paints. I would highly recommend this kit!! The only thing I would suggest, is that you buy brush cleaner, and maybe more white paint if you plan on mixing colors a lot. Very impressed with this kit though!!!

This was my first experience with oil paints, and was a great beginners experience. I am used to acrylic and water color. There is an easy to follow, brief but comprehensive guide to oil painting and explanation of items included in set. However, the brushes are terrible and you get very little linseed oil than you would probably need (at least in my case, it was gone WAY before the paint.) It is a nice beginner's starter set for experimentation and learning. Also, works much better on real canvass than pre-fab pressed canvass from the store.

This is a great set for begginers who got no idea of painting. The paintings done with this came pretty decent. Obviously not for professional use, but for people that are just on it to have fun and do something new this is a hit.

I bought this as a gift for my fiance and thought that for the most part it was a great introductory kit for the price. As stated before, the brushes are semi-low quality and the pad is pretty huge for the amount of paints you get. Cleanup could have been aided by cleaning utensils.

I gave this 4 stars because for the price it is a great deal.

I have realized how wonderfull the canvas boards are. I like stretched canvas but these are cheaper and sturdier. I have used acrylics, oils,water colours, and even casting. I strongly recommend this product foe beginners and experienced artist. I wish the price was cheaper

These are the exact same quality canvas panels that I used to buy from arts & crafts stores like Michael's or Hobby Lobby but they are much cheaper on Amazon and arrive quickly.

I chose the super rating because the panels were packaged so carefully and came soooo quickly. the panels are just what I was looking for to expand my media use.

I dont like the feel or texture of these it makes the paintings come out corse. If you are heavy on your paint like impasto you should be good. Thay are okay for the price I payed but I expected more.

out of the box it was ready to use. Couldn't of been easier. Product seems very durable. Only wish cards were a tad bigger, but otherwise, would recommend to anyone with a small crew of maybe 10 or less employees.

Art Advantage Bamboo Floor Display Easel

I bought two of these easels to display two large framed photos that I did not want to hang on the walls. The easels require a bit of assembly, but anyone who has minimal mechanical skills can put them together. I will likely purchase more of them in the future. They look good, and are sturdy enough for most uses.

I had a hard time finding a reasonably priced, wooden easel so when I found this I was thrilled. It was a little confusing to put together but was sturdy and did the job.

Not good for painting on. The easel is not real sturdy. The legs are very small in width, a little over an inch.

The horizontal support is held by one screw so it can tilt. Challenging to keep it level. The item does not stand up straight when folded back. It leans over about 40 degrees. This makes it cumbersome to store. For what I needed it for, an art show display, this was perfect. It was simple to assemble, good thing because the directions are very vague. It comes with a small chain to hold the back vertical support. Not all that bad. But could use some work on the design. It handled a 60x60. Again, as it says, great for a display.

After some of the less positive reviews, I was a bit learly of this easel. But, it's actually better than I expected. Ok, so maybe you won't place your signed Picasso on it, but for holding a sign directing people upstairs, it's perfect. It's not too flimsy, not difficult to assemble, the directions not too bad. The height of the bar is easily adjustable. It'll flatten, but otherwise take up some room to store, unfortunately. You could disassemble it, which wouldn't be the end of the world though. But, it's versatile and I know I'll use it for any number of things.

The problem with this easel is that there is no way to lock the legs into place, so the easel is highly unstable. Maybe the legs will stay put on plush carpet, but who paints on that? On hardwood or tile floors the legs scoot out and flop flat. Tightening the wingnuts makes only a temporary difference; even the slightest pressure on the table causes the legs to collapse. I gave this product two stars (instead of 1, which it actually deserves) only because I like its general appearance and wood construction.
