Although the gift was received with great enthusiasm, for the price the product did not seem to warrant the price charged. It was much smaller than I anticipated. I hope the product holds up to a child's usage of the product. The cost for the item, in my opinion was overpriced. It is merely a piece of colored particle board with a roll of paper.

As the purchaser I'm disappointed but it was well received by the receiver of the gift and her parents.

We bought this for our daughter for Christmas. She will be three in a couple of months. The first one arrived damaged, but due to the ease of amazon returns we were able to return it and get a new one. So much easier than waiting in line to return something at the store. Just print the label and give it to your UPS man...get online and order a new one. Refund actually came through the day after we got the replacement. The replacement is great. Easy to hang...a level and cordless drill were needed. It comes loaded with the paper and the cups to hold crayons to a paint (we are not to the paint stage yet). We have not used the chalk board feature yet, but it did not come with an eraser.

Product looks great and our daughter loves it. The mounting system seems to have it securely fastened to the wall. Would recommend this product. And like always, you cannot beat Amazon Prime Shipping.

I have limited space and this is turning out to be the perfect solution. It is used by about 9 children ages 18 months to 5 years and fills their needs nicely.

It was easy to hang taking only about 15 minutes. I need to help them tear the paper or slide it under the plastic bar. I would recommend this to others.

I wish i loved this product more, but like other reviewers, the easle is a good size, but the paper roll is TOO SMALL, and there is at least 4 more inches is could be wider on this product, making it even more dissapointing. The roll itself, could be another 2 inches wider the way the product is now. There is so much room and so little paper, it doesn't make any sense. none the less, the concept of putting it on a wall, which can easliy be removed and the chalk board are nice. Sturdy backing and the cups are a plus to store the crayons etc... The paper though rolls down with little force when drawing on the paper, making it s little annoying for my toddler to draw when the paper keeps moving and bunching up... once again, could be remedied if the designers in the Alex company thought a bit. The star that holds the paper, could have a stopper or be a little tighter, the bottom plastic piece that "holds" the paper, is too far from the board, so the paper just falls out... I plan on widening the holders for the paper out and getting a wider roll of paper from another company, they sell them 15 inch, 18 inch etc...and the plastic piece on the bottom will have to be fixed too. 12" is just TOO SMALL to be really be creative. I am dissapointed. but will make due with it, pending adjustments.

UPDATE: I added some clips on the sides to hold it in place, and widened it to hold 18" paper, MUCH BETTER now. Wasnt to hard to do, I have a picture, by amazons system saids the format is 'unsupported' oh well.

My 2 yr old loves to color...on everything! We were getting our front room walls colored on daily. So we decided to order this and hang it in the front room in his play corner and its fantastic. Has it completely cured him of his wall decorations? No, but its easier to redirect his attention now to where he can color. Its the perfect size for him and it overall adorable! I chose a 4 because this set is a very good beginner set, not perfect as a total set would include paints but I really like this is a set to be purchased along with paints for a beginner. I would recommend this set to anyone who is just starting out with painting. We purchased this as a birthday gift for our 9 year old and she found it very easy to use.

Bassett Studio Easel

I've been using this easle for about 12 years now, and it's still holding up even my largest, heavy canvases very well.

I would strongly urge to go to a store before buying an easel. This is just in my opinion a glorified table top H style easel set up. The picture that amazon.com has looks super different than in real life. It is red wood almost and not tan as pictured in amazon.com pic. The wood in spots appear to not last already I just got this item (Dec. 2011). This does not tilt toward you at all. If you are seeking it to tilt toward you look for another easel. It is not on wheels and is twenty some pounds. I wanted it to tilt toward me and away from me and lay flatthis does not do any of that. It has a wobble to it also. My studio has hardwood floors (no carpet) this should not have a wobble to it. It is easy to move the top portion of the easel. The bottom portion is super hard to move and does not slide easily, perhaps over time it may I am not sure. I decided after much debating that I am returning this and getting a different easel on amazon.com. The only plus is that it was easy to put together.

When I wanted to purchase a studio easel, I wanted one that could potentially last me the rest of my life. This quality easel is not only well-built, it's beautiful too. In the eight months since I've purchased it, I've used it for just about every medium you can imagine. This thing handles heavy canvases. I even set up large sheets of plywood to practice my freehand spray paint in my backyard. The only reason I gave it four stars out of five is that it could have come with some assembly instructions. Not too difficult putting it together, but it was totally worth it. I love my easel and will for years to come.

The tray which holds the white board has grooves to better grip the board, holding it steady for writing on it. Nicely made desk, especially for the price. Easy to assemble. The tilt feature is very nice and it's height is adjustable. The only thing I wished I'd checked is exactly how tall it gets. Most drafting style tables are made so you can stand while using them (or I assumed that was the case). This desk is only usable if you are sitting. If you sit while you work (and are not terribly tall), this desk will work great for you.

I needed a small desk to draw my quilting projects. This fits the bill exactly, it does not take up a lot of space, a real plus. I like that I can change the table angle. My 11 year old grandson put it together with a little help from his grandfather so it was not difficult to set up. He likes using it for his homework.

I would recommend spending a little more money and purchasing an item of better quality. The product is not very durable and certainly not worth the $100.00 I paid for it.

When I purchased this table I wanted a table that could angle to an almost vertical position. This was one of the only tables I had found that did this for under $100.00.

The construction is well made and is pretty sturdy. The instructions were lacking. Be prepared to piece things together before attaching them, to Make sure you have them facing the right direction. This table is also smaller than I thought, but still works for what I need it for. Overall I am pleased with this product.

Crayola Fold And Go Art Studio

The item shipped quickly and was easy to get together. It was lacking items that were advertised and only came with a few sheets of paper. It says ages 3 and up but my 2 year old grand daughter is almost too big for it already and she is not a large child. Overall she loves it and spends hours using it for art or just sitting at and watching a cartoon or eating a snack. I would like to see it a little larger so she could use it a little longer but other than that a veruy good childs product.

I put this together last night (no tools required!), and my son played with it for hours! The desk/easel is well built & doesn't take up much space. While the age recommendation is 3 and up, it is perfectly sized for my son who just turned 2. The chair may be small, but it is VERY sturdy. My son asked me to sit on the chair then proceeded to climb on my lap, and it held the both of us together just fine! I'm a pretty small adult, but I was impressed at the sturdiness for such a small seat. The easel is sized for standard 8.5x11 paper so if you want something sized for "easel paper" you'll probably want to look at a different product.

We bought this art/craft table and stool for our 4 year old granddaughter because it was colorful and open for use any way she wants to use it. She loves it. When she is too big for it, her younger brother can use it. We read the reviews, which we always do before making any purchase. She is really excited to start using it with the craft supplies we also got since none come with the desk.

I bought one version of this desk at TRU then returned it when I saw the price difference. It turns out that the model in the picture is not the model I expected. I wanted the one with the dry erase board but didn't know about this until we put it together on Christmas Eve night. Bummed about that but my child doesn't know any different and she loves it just the same. It was very easy to put together and the size is great for her (she's about 36 inches tall). Overall, it's darling and a great purchase but I still wish I had kept the one I purchased originally but that's what I get for not reading the description fully and purchasing on the pix alone.
