Well designed and made. Minimal assembly effort needed. You need a #1 phillips head screw driver and about 2.5 ft. X 4 ft. of clear floor space. Observe the base for an assembly the should make clear how to configure the slide guide screw, spacer and nut. I did not see any written instructions and apparently they are not actually needed, but instructions are reassuring.

All the parts were in good order and nothing was missing. Assembly took about 15 plus minutes, but I was in no hurry at all.

It looks great, seems sturdy and I expect many years uf use.

I have had this easel for almost six years and after awhile when adjusting the height the tray would not hold and my painting crashed to the ground. I often work on two or three paintings at a time and each is a different height so I am constantly readjusting the easel to accommodate the canvas. I was lucky in that my husband adjusted the back metal stress plate (that the knob screwed into) each time and that held for several months.

But now the screw is stripped in the adjustment knob and my husband had to gerry rig a new knob for me.

This easel was perfect in every way for me, not too big for my 8' ceiling, easy to move about and light weight.

However without an easy system for adjusting height it is almost useless...

I have learned to only buy easels with a ratchet system for adjustment from now on.

Liquitex Basics Acrylic 36-Piece Paint Tube Set

I really Love this set, but wish that the tubes were in 4 oz's, instead of the ml's that this set contains . other than that small thing, the set is first rate. i love how dark and bright the colors are and they are the right smoothness and thickness to make your own creations. so go wild and have fun,make whatever comes to mind literally. kudos to liquitex for making a fine product. like i've said though, just wish the tubes were bigger that's all,because you can run out paint fast after a few paintings.

KidKraft Easel Desk

It looks intimidating at first but it was easy to put together, I didn't need my husband to do it. I was proud and happy that I was able to do myself. The kids love it and it is pretty sturdy even on carpet.

I only wish this wasn't MADE IN CHINA. So yes, I will be watching to see if this holds up. I'm hoping it does for the price we paid but I really dont like made in china stuff.

bought this cause my 3 yr old daughter is into painting and such at her pre-school! She kept talking about having her own Easel to have at home to make pictures. I bought this for her, and she has since loved it! She has created many wonderful pictures for Mommy and Daddy and othe family members!

When the packaged arrived it arrived all banged up, and the box had holes all over, and I was very nervous when I received it from the the Brown Truck driver! I told him to stand by while I checked out the package due to the entire box being damaged! I have learned that if the package arrives really damaged don't accept it and have the delivery company send it back! I checked the package out and everything was in order. I proceeded to put it together for my daughter, and layed everything out on the floor following the manual. The manual is something that could be less desired, and could be made better to understand. All of the pieces had little tiny stickers like A,B,C ETC....which listed the parts. However some of the stickers had fallen off, but looking at the manual you can see which parts they were. I started piecing them together. Come to find out some of the holes were not aligned properly, so I had to get trusty drill and make the holes a little bigger so the screws could fit. (Note the package comes with an allen wrench to screw everything in, but you will need a philips and flathead screwdriver). I am pretty handy but it took me about 1 1/2 hours to put this thing together after drilling, and trying to get the screws to fit. At the end the black board and dry erase board would not close only to come find out that the directions had the shelfs showing the wrong way in the pictures. I had to take everything apart and flip them around, and once I did that the black board and dry erase board closed properly! My daughter loves using it but however she needs either mommy or daddy's help, in lowering the dry erase board due to the knobs that lower it are very hard for little hands to pull out! The plastic bins are nice to hold items but the two little pieces of wood that hold them seem a little flimsy, and don't really hold the bins in place that well. For the price I would go with something else, Just waiting to see how long it lasts... Photos will be attached soon...

When I saw this easel I thought it was perfect. Then we opened the box...several of the screw holes weren't even drilled and those that were didn't line up. We had to change out some hardware so it would open and close properly. Also, you can only use the whiteboard as a desktop, not easel. Love the storage however and now that it's together my 6 yr. Old daughter loves it.

Table Top Wooden Easel with Sliding Drawer Easy to Carry

You must have the bottom end of the easel off the table. Also, the drawer opens to the back, not the side as shown, which is not convenient at all. It's large enough to hold basic colors and smaller brushes. I am not using the palet inside since it seems absorbant and is a dark color. I prefer to mix colors on white since I paint on white canvas.

I know it was ment for brushes. But who said you can't use it for other things? Sometimes I love to Sit on a bench in a park, and start drawing or sketching. I do take a pencil pouch, but put the pencil grades in order and saves me time, I just go for the one I want or need. I was surprises how big, and sturdy it it. Im very pleased. I can see this used for makeup thin brushed. This has ulimited posibilities.

This product was described fantastically, exactly what we wanted ..... but when it arrived, we (and more importantly, our daughter) were very disappointed. The quality of the markets is poor, but what is worse is that the "24 oil pastels" are NOT oil pastels they are just 24 additional crayons with the words "oil pastel" on them. We have seen and used real oil pastels, and these are not oil pastels. Recommend that people steer clear of this product!

Got this for my 10 yr old daughter. She LOVED IT. As soon as she got it she immediately began using it to decorate the outside of the case. The little plastic scissors broke on the first use but are easily replace with a more quality pair.

Purchase for my 6 year old grand daughter who loves art. The wood box is nice as it keeps everything together. Lots of variety. Nothing elaborate about this set, but a good one to start with for the price.

I recently purchased this for my daughter. She was happy to finally get it since she had been waiting for it for quite a while.

When she opened the case, everything looked fine, but when she tried to use the scissors, they broke and didn't even cut. The only way for them to work is to hold your hand in an uncomfortable way and it constantly breaks.

Next she tried the pens which worked fine, but when she got to the crayons, she tried one and it almost instantly broke in half. She wasn't holding it tightly or anything, just normally but it simply cracked.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who wants to keep an art set for longer than a day.

Great wood quality with many positional choices. Packaging was good. Delivered on time. Only thing negative is that the gold bar winding tool for the sides didn't have enough grooves to screw into the ball attached to the easel so we just used wing nuts. Other than that I love it.

The wood used for the frame is good, but the cardboard used in the back and for the stand is very low quality. The edges are not properly filed, the cardboard powder keeps falling down on the glass and its hard to remove those from the glass.

Frames work well. Came quickly, but without notice. I was unable to track their progress and didn't know when they would arrive until they did arrive. They did come rather quickly however.

Martin Weber Bologna Wooden Studio Easel

This is a great easel at a truly great price. Easy to assemble, and extremely functional. The tilt feature is superb. I don't know how I live without it. It really makes a difference. I often lay my canvas on a table. I don't need to anymore. Just great.

I love this easel. It is well made and really thought out. I can work on tiny or LARGE easels. It is sturdy but easy for me to lift and move when I need to. You can buy much more expensive easels but they will not give you this kind of versatility. I also do work on acid free paper and then rework it onto a canvas and I love being able to have the paper piece hanging above while I do the canvas. You can tilt it to fit any angle or style you want.

If you get it delivered missing the instructions go the the Martin Weber Universal Design website and they have them there. If you are missing parts you can email the manufacturer and they will send them to you. Martin Weber has been creating artists tools since 1853 and once you start using it you will appreciate the knowledge they have put into their products.

I received my shipment, looking forward to using this easel however, the box came with no instructions. Only a minor setback since it's a pretty straight-forward setup, but obviously there were parts missing and one of the hinges wasn't working. For the price, NO ONE should have to deal with any inconveniences with this product. Returned for refund.
