Daylight Chrome Professional Artists Lamp

I have been searching for a light which helps me to paint in the evening. This lamp exceeded my expectations by its sturdy construction, wonderful illumination and flexibility. I highly recommend it for artists, craft artists, etc.

I just received my lamp, and I am so impressed! I hesitated about spending this much money on a clamp lamp for my painting easel, but now I'm happy I did! First of all, the lamp looks beautiful, not like the ugly round clamp lamps I was going to get... This looks like a high quality stainless type product, it is well made, and the clamp is very secure on the easel. The lamp itself is very heavy (so be cautious about easel stability if you extend the arm too far). The lamp lights up my painting with a very natural light... This product is definitely worth the price! Go for it!

I purchased the product in July. The light would flash and flicker for up to 5 minutes before it would come fully on. In order to check the bulb it requires removing 6 screws and the tube housing the bulb. The clips that normally secure this type of bulb are totally inadequate. The bulb is loose and floppy. It might be that the tube end is meant to help secure the bulb. I found it tedious and time consuming to reassemble the tube, it must be lined up just so. I spent 30 minutes or more on this. I do not expect the lamp to be dependable and would not recommend it.

It flickers on and off for at least 5 minutes before it stabilizes. It does this every time I turn it on again: I have to wait for a flickering light to decide it's ready to work. It's right out of the box. Otherwise, the design would have been so so great. I am so disappointed as I was really hoping it would have worked. Returning it ASAP.

I am anything but an artist so this is second-hand. It was a gift to my better half's mother. She has a very nice studio with a mostly skylighted ceiling. She has not been willing to paint at night due to poor indoor lighting. After about a week we got a call and she was thrilled how well it worked for her painting. She said it was a very good "daylight" to paint by. It was very easy to assemble and will clamp or mount just about anywhere on her easel.

The "SENECA" Table Easel

It takes a bit of understanding of how to set it up, as it does not come with instructions. I referred back to the picture here on Amazon on how it should be set up.

The easel is well crafted. I was not expecting this good of quality. The wood is very well pieced together. I recommend that if it does come apart accidentally to use some wood glue. I did notice that the manufacturer did not use glue, or if they did, it is not much.

I highly recommend this piece to painters. I am a novice, but this is the best crafted canvas stand I have seen yet, and I am very excited to use it.

For the canvas' that have canvas stretched around four boards with the staples on the back side, you can put the canvas on the top piece of wood (the one that is like two inches by two inches). This gives the painter the room he needs to paint the edges, and they will not get ruined, as the canvas is suspended from the holding dock.

This is just wonderful. I can only keep telling everyone that this is a very well made painters stand.

Darice Lyre Easel

For any artist, this easel is easy to assemble and holds almost any size canvas you wish to paint. It gives sturdy support and requires little space in the studio.

The easel was delivered basically pre-assembled except for a piece and some hardware. This is my first easel and the only problem that I have is that there were no instructions to complete the assemblage of the product. I figured it out for the most part by looking at the picture on Amazon, but I still have a piece and some hardware left and it is not apparent in the photo where the part should go. For this, I will only give this product 3 stars.

I feel like I should know what to do since most of the work was done before shipping, but instructions would have been helpful nevertheless.

Anatex Easel Standing

This easel is very nice! It is wood so it's heavier, which makes it nice and sturdy. The only issue I can think of is that the majority of the wood has a finish on it which is easy to wipe the colors off of, but there are a couple parts that don't. Which makes it really hard to wipe off the dry erase marker and paint that is used. Overall, it is nice. I would recommend this easel.

Ordered this for my granddaughter for Christmas. It is by far the best easel out there!! It is solid, made with beautiful wood, safe(non-tippable) and MADE IN AMERICA.it has rounded corners,the roll of paper is very stable, the chalkboard is of excellent material....easy to write on(heard this was a downfall of other easels), and really I can find NO fault with this product. It was easy to put together and best of all she loves it!!! It will last forever!

The "LOBO" Easel

I purchased this easel for a small studio space that I'm building. It delivered on time and was well packaged. The easel was in excellent condition. Assembly instructions have something to be desired, and I would certaining suggest that the company spend a little more time in this department. Once assembled, (took about 20 minutes), I was pleased that the easel was a solid piece of studio furniture. Mine is sitting on a heavy canvas tarp on carpet, and it is very stable on this rather springy surface. The easel design is nice allowing the canvas space to move in just about whatever angle you need to have a comfortable painting experience. I especially like that it lays flat so if I wanted to, I could use it as a table when sketching my work onto canvas. This is the perfect easel for the space I have it in.

Martin Universal Mobile Bench Easel

Buyers beware. The actual bench part of this easel seems to have no internal support. It cracked when we sat on it and we're sending it back. Aside from that, the overall construction is rather rickety, especially the easel which will not be a great surface for painting. It's also a little too short, especially if you use long brushes.

Love it!love it!Makes painting so much more comfortable..not fighting easel legs!!!It is balanced and holds canvas, etc. much more securely at most any angle that I want!
