The item description says the paper is "heavy stock 'scrapbook' type. This is NOT true. The paper is no thicker than a typical looseleaf sheet. I can't use this paper for what I intended to use it for: to replace pages in an old photo album. I just wish the description would've matched the product.

I'm sure the paper is usefull as refill sheets for the portfolio, although, I would probably prefer a thicker, better quality paper to present my photos/artwork.

Guerrilla Painter Palette Extension Kit for the Medium French Resistance Pochade

Was difficult to attack correctly, but works good. Box bounces on camera tripod a little. Put plastic box for holding water on them, but when the cups were first empty the wind blow them off. Have not tried the brush holding rack part just yet. Small palette designed for this box fits into the box. I will think of some more uses for it. I put in on the left side instead of the right side that it shown on the picture, because I am left handed. It takes a while to set up the box, but the extension now flips out since I have attached it.

Aluminum Display and Painting Easel

This easel is pretty decent given the price. To get much better, you'd have to pay massively more money. Speaking of paying massively more, I saw one in Office Depot that wasn't quite as good, and they were charging 5 x what this one cost. So, I think it is a pretty good deal.

The easel is plenty tall enough, and plenty sturdy enough for holding foam or cardboard backed posters like for trade shows, which is what we use it for. It would also hold heavier wood framed canvases, but you wouldn't want to put some 6' x 6' ornate wood framed painting on it. It's nice and light so it's easy to carry and transport. Trivial to set up,too, which is nice considering that mostly marketing people have to deal with it. I'm kidding!

Anyway, it does the job well, it's a very good deal, it's light and simple to set up. Perfect.

Cheap wood and missing screws. Not completely finished surfaces. Poor quality, as I had to reassemble to make certain wing nuts would keep easel up. Legs don't stay up on own. Defiantly a better idea to spend a few more dollars and get one that's solid. Contacted seller with no resolution.

I purchased this easel for a class and I am glad I did since it weighs about half of what most of the easels my classmates purchased and have to lug around. Unfortunately, as soon as it arrived some of the parts were loose and the drawer had come unglued from the bottom. I was able to doctor it back together with some creativity, and it works perfectly fine nowjust be aware that it's made fairly cheaply. The little drawer doesn't have much room to hold more than a couple of paint tubes, and there's no storage for wet canvasses, so plan accordingly. Also, there isn't a ton of room for balancing paints, water, palette and brushes in the same placeI have to get creative and rig up my water and brushes in a way that they hang off the sides.

Overall, pretty much what I expected for the price, and a perfect starter easel for someone who is just learning how to work with paints outdoors and isn't planning on using it a ton!

It works well for my daughter. It's a bit flimsy for what I was expecting. One of the braces were bent when I opened the box as well.

I am very pleased with this easel, everything works, easy to operate and unexpectedly high quality for the price. I do a lot of pleineir, and this easel became my workhorse.

Art Alternatives Wood Box Pencil Easel

I bought one of these a few years ago from a local Art Store. At First I bought it cause I liked the way it looked, but after using it I fount it to be an excellent item. The way it folds in to a stand to hold your pencils for easy access is just awesome. I would advise this to any one who wants to add both some style and functionality to their art kit.

The only problem with this amazing case is the lack of an ability to keep it together. It opens pretty freely. My personal solution to this is just to keep a rubber band around it to keep it closed. And when I'm using the case, the rubber band helps me elevate my pencils for even quicker access.

Over all this is a pretty sweet buy.

The idea is there but it needs a lot of work still. First off it doesn't keep close when there's pencil in them, make sure you have rubber band wrapped around it otherwise expect to play pick up stick with your pencils. Because of this, I only use it for holding my pencils up so I can get easy access to what I need but then it kept falling forward until i bend it all the way back and have it lean on some books. lol... This product is useless but it has potential if they can fix these issues. lol Oh yah, it does look very professional!

American Easel Oak Yazhi Easel-Golden Finish

I purchased this easel for a high school student to use over the summer to build her portfolio. I was looking for something heavey enough that she could use it out doors without fear of it blowing over in a breeze. (keep in mind that the size of canvas will impact wind resistance/blow over). I couldn't believe the quality when we got this last week. I paid well under the list price here on Amazon and as the daughter of a shop teacher, I am used to "grading" wood work LOL! This easel is oak, it's well finished and the fittings are lovely. It assembled in a few minutes and while it's not made to be portable, it will be pretty easy to move about.

We buy a lot of our art supplies from Blick, but they couldn't touch this price and quality. I'm extreamly happy and I recomend this to artists of all levels.

This is a lightweight wooden easel. You also cannot adjust the legs of the back easel at all. has a little chain that only goes one length so the angle of the painting is NOT adjustable at all. That sucks! It would be a MUCH better design if it had a slide to adjust the angle!!!!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE for all you reviewers who read these before you order! Only 11 pounds is cheap-y but for the price and free shipping (I live in Hawaii!) it's ok for small-medium sized canvas. It's a bit too lightweight and not sturdy enough for larger canvas. 36x36 would be MAX to have it hold. It held my 49' long by 29 high but it wobbled a bit and I had to keep tightening the bottom screws. Too much hung off the bottom piece. It shipped FAST. Arrived undamaged. I sold it in 2 days for =what I paid for it, so no loss. Shipping it back would have been $. Aloha.

This was backordered for a time, but when it arrived I was pleased. It is a significant step above the very lightweight tripod easels out there, but it isn't as heavy (or bulky) as the real hardcore easels for painters of large stretched canvas. We have now used it for photographing our art collection, and now will convert it to hold a rotating piece in our living room. The top bracket gives a nice sense of security versus simply balancing a frame on the easel. For the (significantly discounted from list) price we paid, this was an excellent deal.

Melissa & Doug Dry-Erase Marker Set (4 pc)

I bought this set for my 4-year-old niece to go with a small marker board/chalk board. I have previously purchased many Melissa and Doug products and am always pleased with the quality of the product. This time was no different.

The marker set is appropriate for a child old enough not to eat the cap. I say this because some 4-year-olds still do this.

The markers work fine on the marker board, as expected, and have vibrant colors. The markers are also easily erasable with a marker board eraser, and wash out of clothing without a problem.

I would recommend this set, but older children may want more colors than just the four.

These emarkers worked fine for my grandchildren and seemed to last quite a while. No problems with them. Good value for the money.

I had bought some Foohy brand washable markers and they are washable. However, when I needed some more for my kids to play with at my mom's house, I couldn't find them, so I took a gamble with these. They are not marketed as washable, but based on some reviews I thought they would be. Unfortunately, they are not. As with other regular dry erase markers, the only way I could get the stain out was to rub and rub the stain with Murphy's Oil Soap (a tip I found online that actually works)! So, if the only reason you are wanting these markers is in hopes that they will wash out of clothing, they will not.

A bit of guessing on the durability, but the pens seem well made. Tips are particularly strong and sharp. They're tapered rather than chiseled. This is good thing. Colors are vivid, as well. We're pleased.
