Deco Art 3-Ounce Traditions Acrylic Paint, Pine Green

Deco Art 3-Ounce Traditions Acrylic Paint, Pine GreenI wanted to use this easel to hold a large cardboard picture. The easel was not able to support this light weight picture. The legs which are not tethered to each other, slide independently on all floors except carpet. It was hard to keep the picture level. The top holder is very flimsy and does not do a good job of holding the item either. I returned the easel but the company charged me 15% restocking fee on this unacceptable piece of flimsy item. If you want to hold anything like what is shown in the product picture, I would not suggest this product. You will find yourself frustrated by it.

It's a bit clumsy, but gets the job done. I can't get easel back into its clever little carrying bag unless I first remove little brackets. Too much trouble to reassemble those each use (weekly), so I just collapse and put in my bin.

Royal 48 Piece All Media Artist Easel Set

Royal & Langnickel 48-Piece All Media Easel Artist SetI ordered this Royal & Langnickel 48-Piece All Media Easel Artist Set for my daughter as a birthday gift. I receive the set in just a few days. When I received the set, I unpacked it from the shipping box and repacked the Royal & Langnickel 48-Piece set and sent it off to my daughter without opening it to take a peek. My daughter called me when she received it and said this was one of the best gifts she had ever received... Several weeks later I stopped and visited with my daughter and her family. My daughter brought out the set and showed it to me, she was so happy and proud. When I finally took the time to look at it, I could not believe what I was seeing. The set is not a cheap thrown together piece of crap! The Wood Easel is very well made and very ridged. Inside everything had its parking place. Very neat. My daughter is 33 years old... This set is not kid stuff... My daughter is an artist.

I love to buy in Amazon, however some time to time I get packages like this one. Everything inside was scramble and one of the parts was broken, so I am not sure if I will be able to assembly anymore. All the little tubes with the paint were floating around the box and one of the caps was missing. Another thing is that one of the paint tubes had an small hole on it and when I tried to use it I found it was dry.

All items were present and accounted for in the kit. However, the 'some assembly required' did not include instructions nor measurements for DRILLING holes into the box in order to make it an actual easel. Very dissatisfied with the product as it does not meet its said function.

Bought this for my 12 year old son, should have paid closer attention, it is a complete paint set with

but no pencils or chalks or anything, which would probably have been more age appropriate for him, he was

excited to build it but hasn't started painting yet due to the difficulty of finding a place to do so.

It is a decent set for the price, I did alot of research, and I am happy with the value.

The person who got it as a gift really like it. He plans on going back to painting and it was much appreciated.

Art Advantage Female Right Hand Mannequin

Art Advantage Female Right Hand MannequinBeware this is not a "female" hand. We received a large hand that was neither male nor female, and a spokesperson for the company said they don't sell any gender-specific hands, anyway. Also, the pinky is too loose and won't stay in place; and the index finger is too tight and difficult to move.

The hand is great the joints all work beautifully, it balances nicely on its felt base and it adds an interesting aesthetic to my desk. It's also great for holding and displaying jewelery. The only problem I have with it is the thumb. It's impossible to see from the picture above, but the thumb joint is too far into the palm of the hand. When a hand is flat the thumb juts out directly in line with all of the other knuckles, but the mannequin hand places the thumb too far forward and inwards, as if it were trying to reach into a small jar. The hand is indeed anatomically correct, but added to the fact that the fingers can only move back and forth and not side to side makes for a stiff model. It's impossible to achieve dynamic poses with the hand, and therefore I can't use it as a drawing model like I purchased it for. It is, however, a big help with achieving understanding as to how the four fingers move. This hand can be used as a decent anatomy lesson if taken with a pinch of salt.

Dollhouse Miniature Artist's Easel and Palette

Dollhouse Miniature Artist's Easel and PaletteI am using this as my cake topper. It wasn't that well made. It's crooked and the painting is also crooked. The back pole is too long and the painter's pallet is huge compared to the easel. I made it work, but if I had a dollhouse, I don't know if I would have liked this very much for it because it is so crooked.

Martin Just Stow-it Ultimate Messenger Bag for the Arts

Martin Just Stow-it Ultimate Messenger Bag for the Arts, BlackI love this bag. Helps keep my supplies organized. I was having to get very creative when it came to transporting all my supplies with me. This bag lets me carry all my supplies in each of their spots as well as my laptop. Now this bad is designed more for the painter in mind, with plastic liners for wet brush heads, a pouch for long brushes as well as hanging pouch for shorter brushes. Two side pockets for bottles, spray cans, or other similar sized items. The straps for carrying can be used for carrying tubes. As a pencil, charcoal, and pastel artist, I've used the spaces for my own tools, and still have extra space. My laptop stores perfectly, and is well protected. Good thing since I wasn't paying attention and knocked the bad off my desk with it in it. No damage. I put my phone keys, knife, and few other items in one side pocket, and my can of fixitif in the other. My pencils I store in the interior removable hanging pouch, drawing pads and planner fit nicely, even with the laptop, and all my pastels are stored in the front pouches. I use the large paintbrush case for my laptop cord, and the front two half clear pockets for cables, cameras, and extra storage. I still have tons of space not used and when it's closed it doesn't feel really heavy. Great bag.

I had gotten a black one in hopes that it would hold everything I needed for class. My two books, a sketchbook, a lots of pens and brushes, but the bag itself is actually the majority of the weight I'm carrying, and it doesn't hold quite as much as it looks like it might because the hooks just aren't heavy-duty enough to handle what the bag itself can. The twisting nob will pop out from the hook and the metal latches that keep the hooks on break easily, mine is not the only one it has happened to here. I just think that, for the price, it could use a few make-overs. If you can modify the strap components to hole more weight, go for it! If not, look for a different bag.

...the shoulder strap didn't pull loose the first time I used it, the zipper pulls didn't turn sideways, and if the design didn't lead to a front heavy bag, causing it to not set up straight without futzing with it and causing the front of the bag to pull inward and downward.

That said, I am keeping it and will do a few modifications because overall I really like this bag. I think the zippers and hardware will wear out long before the bag parts do, but there is just something about it that makes me want to carry it. If you aren't willing to make a few sacrifices to have the organization that this bag offers, then I wouldn't buy it.

I doubt that I would buy it again, but it is here and I can't seem to send it back.

I may be an artist but I can't stand having my supplies unorganized, this bag solves that problem without a doubt. So many pockets and pouches that all of my supplies have a home no matter what medium I'm in the mood to work in. Comfortable strap and cushioned handle makes it easy to carry even when it's loaded down with supplies. Must have for the artist on the go!

This bag is the greatest for my art junk. It stores everything I need it to and more, and it takes up no more space than my previous floppily Jack Bauer messenger bag.
