Aluminum Display and Painting Easel

This easel is pretty decent given the price. To get much better, you'd have to pay massively more money. Speaking of paying massively more, I saw one in Office Depot that wasn't quite as good, and they were charging 5 x what this one cost. So, I think it is a pretty good deal.

The easel is plenty tall enough, and plenty sturdy enough for holding foam or cardboard backed posters like for trade shows, which is what we use it for. It would also hold heavier wood framed canvases, but you wouldn't want to put some 6' x 6' ornate wood framed painting on it. It's nice and light so it's easy to carry and transport. Trivial to set up,too, which is nice considering that mostly marketing people have to deal with it. I'm kidding!

Anyway, it does the job well, it's a very good deal, it's light and simple to set up. Perfect.

Bassett Studio Easel

I've been using this easle for about 12 years now, and it's still holding up even my largest, heavy canvases very well.

I would strongly urge to go to a store before buying an easel. This is just in my opinion a glorified table top H style easel set up. The picture that amazon.com has looks super different than in real life. It is red wood almost and not tan as pictured in amazon.com pic. The wood in spots appear to not last already I just got this item (Dec. 2011). This does not tilt toward you at all. If you are seeking it to tilt toward you look for another easel. It is not on wheels and is twenty some pounds. I wanted it to tilt toward me and away from me and lay flatthis does not do any of that. It has a wobble to it also. My studio has hardwood floors (no carpet) this should not have a wobble to it. It is easy to move the top portion of the easel. The bottom portion is super hard to move and does not slide easily, perhaps over time it may I am not sure. I decided after much debating that I am returning this and getting a different easel on amazon.com. The only plus is that it was easy to put together.

When I wanted to purchase a studio easel, I wanted one that could potentially last me the rest of my life. This quality easel is not only well-built, it's beautiful too. In the eight months since I've purchased it, I've used it for just about every medium you can imagine. This thing handles heavy canvases. I even set up large sheets of plywood to practice my freehand spray paint in my backyard. The only reason I gave it four stars out of five is that it could have come with some assembly instructions. Not too difficult putting it together, but it was totally worth it. I love my easel and will for years to come.

Martin Rivera French Sketch Box Wooden Easel

My boyfriend bought me this for my birthday and I love it. It is the perfect size to go in a corner of my apartment. The only complaint I have is it was a little confusing to put together at first. Instructions would have been helpful. We were able to figure it out by looking at the pictures on the box, though.

I wanted to use this easel to hold a large cardboard picture. The easel was not able to support this light weight picture. The legs which are not tethered to each other, slide independently on all floors except carpet. It was hard to keep the picture level. The top holder is very flimsy and does not do a good job of holding the item either. I returned the easel but the company charged me 15% restocking fee on this unacceptable piece of flimsy item. If you want to hold anything like what is shown in the product picture, I would not suggest this product. You will find yourself frustrated by it.

It's a bit clumsy, but gets the job done. I can't get easel back into its clever little carrying bag unless I first remove little brackets. Too much trouble to reassemble those each use (weekly), so I just collapse and put in my bin.

I bought 2 of these, one for myself, the other for my best friend that introduced me to painting. We both love them! It's incredibly easy to use, light weight but sturdy. Initially I was wary because before I even opened the shipping box, I heard rattling. So I thought, "Great, I received a broken item." However, I discovered the rattle was simply caused by two wingnuts and two washers loose inside the paintbox which were not contained inside a plastic baggie. The workmanship quality, after a thorough inspection, was so much higher that I expected for such a low price. And the size is perfect for my workspace. It's constructed out of unfinished wood which I plan to stain as it's too nice to hide away. This easel is definitely going on my gift list for my creative friends!

I love these brushes for little jobs around the house. In the past, I would try to find thick, fairly stiff-bristled brushes of this size in the arts & crafts stores or at the hardware store...never successfully. These brushes are very durable, just the right size for little touch-up jobs, and inexpensive enough (under a dollar each) that if you use an oil-based paint or glue, you can throw them away instead of worrying about cleaning them (although they are so nice, it's hard to do). They are perfect for detailed painting next to window panes or difficult to remove hardware. They work well for trying to get glue into cracks or hard-to-reach areas. So far, after multiple uses, the bristles are staying in nicely, and are fine enough that they don't leave brush marks. And the wooden handles are so beautiful, I actually like holding them.

Nicely made desk, especially for the price. Easy to assemble. The tilt feature is very nice and it's height is adjustable. The only thing I wished I'd checked is exactly how tall it gets. Most drafting style tables are made so you can stand while using them (or I assumed that was the case). This desk is only usable if you are sitting. If you sit while you work (and are not terribly tall), this desk will work great for you.

I needed a small desk to draw my quilting projects. This fits the bill exactly, it does not take up a lot of space, a real plus. I like that I can change the table angle. My 11 year old grandson put it together with a little help from his grandfather so it was not difficult to set up. He likes using it for his homework.

I would recommend spending a little more money and purchasing an item of better quality. The product is not very durable and certainly not worth the $100.00 I paid for it.

When I purchased this table I wanted a table that could angle to an almost vertical position. This was one of the only tables I had found that did this for under $100.00.

The construction is well made and is pretty sturdy. The instructions were lacking. Be prepared to piece things together before attaching them, to Make sure you have them facing the right direction. This table is also smaller than I thought, but still works for what I need it for. Overall I am pleased with this product.
