This is a nice, sturdy, all wood easel. It has a hidden paper roll which I did not know about when I ordered but was happy to discover. The rubber floor protection pieces on the legs also help keep it in place.

You need to disassemble it to fold it up for storage.

Overall, this is a very nice, practical easel which our grandchildren will enjoy for a long time. It is height adjustable and also can be used tabletop.

I like this easel. We received it as a gift. It was easy to put together. You don't *have* to put on the legs--the easel will stand on its own at floor height. However, if you don't put on the legs, you won't be able to hang the red bags for storage. Those are wonderful, by the way, to store EVERY piece of artsy stuff that my daughter owns! The tray that attaches to both sides of the easel is wonderful. The roll of paper is nice, and you can use both sides... :)

The chalkboard & whiteboard are NOT magnetic, which I think is kind of a bummer. Of course, the chalkboard is not super great quality, which is why I give the easel 4 stars.

Oh, and FYI, you will have to loosen a couple of screws to fold this up to store flat. No biggy, but FYI.

I took weeks looking for an art easel that would be high quality for my daughter. It was her "big gift" from Santa. I am a single mom and I work four to five days a week so didn't have a chance to open and really look at it until Christmas Eve when I was putting it together. It was missing parts, some of the parts weren't cut correctly, and some of the parts were broken. I ended up having to just do the best I could.
