I have a tendency to change eyepieces on my spotting scope and this is a great place to store them while observing. The pocket is on the shallow side, but it's better than trying to stuff things into one's pockets. Don't put any lightweight items into it on a windy day!

I had bought some Foohy brand washable markers and they are washable. However, when I needed some more for my kids to play with at my mom's house, I couldn't find them, so I took a gamble with these. They are not marketed as washable, but based on some reviews I thought they would be. Unfortunately, they are not. As with other regular dry erase markers, the only way I could get the stain out was to rub and rub the stain with Murphy's Oil Soap (a tip I found online that actually works)! This was purchased for my granddaughter and the problem is the marker coloring does NOT wash out of clothing. Not good for little people! It was disappointing.

This presentation board is clunky and bulky but it works OK. Once it is set up the worst is over but dragging it around is like moving furniture. A drawback is that there is no way to clip material to the board. I ended up modifying it so it could hold presentations I had created
The hardware packet said it had 18 1.5" connector bolts. It only had 8. The bolts for the uprights were 2" long and needed to be 1.5" so they had to resend the right size. Customer service was very nice and was apologetic and willing to send out the correct screws right away. Now I need 2 more nuts and the long bolt is defective and won't screw into the knob. For $200.00 (the convertible easel), I would think the hardware would be correct. The directions are relatively easy to follow, but could be more specific. This has been extemely frustrating and I would think twice about ordering online again. The wood is really nice and the easel is sturdy. If only I could get it together to actually USE it.
This is great. It is very easy to assemble and seems sturdy. My kids love it. There are two things that would make it better: a drawer to store the magnetic letters, eraser, etc that comes with the easel and a roll of art paper. It comes with magnetic letters, and eraser and two paint cups. You will need to purchase paper, dry erase markers and chalk in order to make it fully functional upon opening. Overall, my kids have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had a dry erase board which was 3ft by 2 1/2 feet and weighed about 2 lbs. The two support hooks would not stay up with anything that weighed over a pound. This product can hold a sturdy cardboard display but that's about it. I drilled a hole through the plastic support hooks and the two front legs and used a screw to secure the support hooks to the legs so that I can use my dry erase board. I bought this for my white board, but my white board is a bit heavy (24x36)for this easel. I can still write on the white board with no problem, but I have to hold it to erase. The easel itself is nice. it folds up easily and sets up in a snap.
I've never written a review before but had to for this item. I was in desperate need of a light weight, sturdy, inexpensive, easy to assemble easel that would hold a 16x20 canvas for painting. I needed 10 of them for a group project. I was short on time, after having shopped around at a number of stores and not being able to find what I needed. I finally decided to try searching online. I really took a chance ordering this without actually seeing it. I was extremely pleased when I opened the box. Not only that, the easels got rave reviews from members of the group who wanted to know where I got them. I was more than happy to share. I would not buy another. It looks sturdier than it is...it is very light weight and the bar across the front will not stay up.
This product is good but I wouldn't have purchased it if I had realized that it shouldn't really support items taller than 5". Rather than pay shipping twice if I bought the wrong thing, I bought all 3 sizes (3,5,7"). There is little information provided on the product page to make an educated purchase. I will use these for something else.

My box arrived with the panel holder broken, or more accurately, it came apart. The panel holder is made from plywood which was stapled together, no glue just staples, and it came apart in shipping. I am going to return it because if it can't handle shipping, how is it going to stand up to being dragged around outside in a backpack?

There's not much to say other than all of the 8 black screws that are supposed to be used to mount this onto a drafting board were missing in the shipment. I contacted the seller AATVA and they contacted Martin Universal Design directly to have the screws sent to me. AATVA never followed up with me after I had contacted them the first time. I eventually had to deal directly with Martin Universal Design. It took Martin Universal 4 times to finally send the correct missing parts. At one point they sent me one screw, yes 1 screw. I now own 8 additional black mounting clamps, and a bunch of small silver screws (that the instructions specifically say NOT to use).
This is a great easel at a truly great price. Easy to assemble, and extremely functional. The tilt feature is superb. I don't know how I live without it. It really makes a difference. I often lay my canvas on a table. I don't need to anymore. Just great.

I used the brown marker and it looked like a regular kids marker on a dry erase board, very thin and watery looking, faded quickly. I used the blue and green and was pleased with how mice they looked--until I tried to erase them! They did not wipe off. I tried water, ethanol, isopropanol, and acetone finger nail polish remover. I can still CLEARLY read what had been written in the blue like it had just been written with a pale blue permanent marker. The green is only slightly lighter. My dry erase board is ruined and it is a large expensive one!

These markers are NOT dry erase markers. They write well, but DO NOT erase. Our dry erase board is completely ruined. Bought this for my 4 years old daughter. She loves it. I tested it with a dot on my hand and tried to wash it with just water, no soap. To my delight that it washes off even without having to scrub the painted hands. It blends with the running water and the mark simply disappear with the running water. Amazing. Highly recommended.
I am a big fan of the Step 2 products. They have great durability, and are usually designed well. I had an older version of this easel, and I have to say that I liked it better than this one (unfortunately I sold it in a garage sale a couple of years ago). The older version had two different boards that were at a slight angle, more like a traditional easel, which I think made it a bit easier for the little ones to write/draw on. This new version has just one board with two sides and stands upright. I guess the plus to this is that the base doesn't need to be as wide so it is more small space friendly.

Step2 makes great products and this easel is no exception. It has 2 sides, a magnetic whiteboard and a chalkboard. The work area is decent but overall, not terribly big. This easel is a great size for anyone 3 and under. My daughter is 2 and really enjoys it. The product comes with quite a few foam pieces, mostly letters and other random shapes. It doesn't come with any other art products but that is usually the case. This easel seemed to have the most value for the buck. It is double sided and contains multiple sheet of magnetic letters/numbers. there are multiple sets of letters in different colors so your kids will have fun with colors too for younger ones. Easy to assemble, just make sure you have a hammer and a cloth handy. The only gripe is that it's not easy to store. The top easel portion comes off with ease, but the grey and yellow bucket does not come apart without tools.
I guess this is what you can expect from a chinese made product; out of the ten books purchase, not one had space for 50 photos. Only 24 pages. Otherwise good product.

I was a bit disappointed that the product's description didn't give recommended dimensions for the object the easel is holding. The easel's height limit is a little more than 18" with the wooden piece on the top portion in front attached. However, this piece can be removed. I was able to get the easel to support a 23x33 (23 inches high) frame, though this may not be recommended by the manufacturer.

This is a really simple, easy-to-build easel, and is a great addition for someone wanting a basic table-top option. I was missing a washer for one of the nut/bolt assemblies but figure that was an easy fix with a plastic one I had on hand. I get good usage out of this inexpensive but utilitarian item.
I love this table easel. Instead of sitting canvas all the way in the support, clamp it in place so you can paint the entire canvas. Works perfectly if used as mentioned.
